Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Healthcare Assistant to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a Physical Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Advanced Clinical Practitioner team in the delivery of physical healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to patients with physical healthcare needs
  • Assist senior clinicians in the delivery of physical healthcare services
  • Develop and maintain skills in ECG acquisition, venepuncture, and immunisations
  • Provide treatment and advice on wound care
  • Advocate for good health and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of IT and ability to work semi-autonomously
  • Self-motivated and able to provide high standards of care
  • Knowledge and experience of working with challenging patient groups
