Job Title: Physical Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Healthcare Assistant to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a Physical Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Advanced Clinical Practitioner team in the delivery of physical healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support senior clinicians in the delivery of physical healthcare, including ECG acquisition, venepuncture, and immunisations.
  • Provide treatment and advice on wound care, promoting good health and wellbeing.
  • Advocate for patients with challenging behaviors, demonstrating a flexible and person-centered approach.
  • Work semi-autonomously within a team environment, utilizing good interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements:
  • Previous skills in ECG acquisition, venepuncture, and immunisations.
  • Basic knowledge of IT and ability to work independently.
  • Self-motivated and able to demonstrate high standards of care.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with challenging patient groups.
