About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Healthcare Assistant to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a Physical Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Advanced Clinical Practitioner team in the delivery of physical healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior clinicians in the delivery of physical healthcare, including ECG acquisition, venepuncture, and immunisations.
  • Provide treatment and advice on wound care, promoting good health and wellbeing.
  • Advocate for patients with challenging behaviors, demonstrating a flexible and person-centered approach.
  • Work semi-autonomously within a team environment, utilizing good interpersonal skills and clear communication.

Requirements

  • Previous skills in ECG acquisition, venepuncture, and immunisations.
  • Good interpersonal skills and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Basic knowledge of IT and ability to work semi-autonomously.
  • Self-motivated and able to provide high standards of care.
