About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Healthcare Assistant to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our patients, working closely with our Advanced Clinical Practitioner team to deliver physical healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide treatment and advice on wound care, as well as advocacy of good health and wellbeing.
  • Support senior clinicians in the delivery of physical healthcare, demonstrating and promoting skills to staff as appropriate.
  • Work semi-autonomously within a team environment, using good interpersonal skills and clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Provide high standards of care, demonstrating a flexible, individual, and person-centred approach.
Requirements
  • Prior skills in ECG acquisition, venepuncture, and immunisations are preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, and a basic knowledge of IT are essential.
  • Ability to work semi-autonomously within a team environment and provide high standards of care.
