About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Healthcare Assistant to join our team at St Andrews Healthcare. As a key member of our Advanced Clinical Practitioner team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical healthcare to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

As a Physical Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting senior clinicians in the delivery of physical healthcare, including ECG acquisition, venepuncture, and immunisations. You will also provide treatment and advice on wound care, as well as advocating for good health and wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills and clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of IT and ability to work semi-autonomously within a team environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to provide high standards of care
  • Knowledge and experience of working with challenging patient groups (desirable)
