About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in physical healthcare. You will be working with a team of experienced clinicians to provide high-quality care to patients with complex needs.

As a Physical Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting senior clinicians in the delivery of physical healthcare, including ECG acquisition, venepuncture, and immunisations. You will also be required to provide treatment and advice on wound care, as well as advocating for good health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support senior clinicians in the delivery of physical healthcare

  • Develop and maintain skills in ECG acquisition, venepuncture, and immunisations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have good interpersonal skills, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, and a basic knowledge of IT. You will also need to be self-motivated and able to work semi-autonomously within a team environment.

Knowledge and experience of working with challenging patient groups would be an advantage, as you will be a role model to your team, demonstrating a flexible, individual, and person-centred approach.
