About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our CAMHS Inpatient Team as a Healthcare Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality care to young people admitted to our Inpatient Wards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with individual and group therapy sessions, including educational and therapeutic activities.
  • Support and supervise young people, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and progress.
Requirements
  • Good standard of general education.
  • Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of factors contributing to adolescent mental health.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working with CAMHS.
  • Knowledge of SystmOne patient record keeping system.
