Job Overview

Pembroke Suite is a dynamic and growing SACT infusion day unit, seeking a highly skilled and experienced registered nurse to join our team. As a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and developing your leadership skills.

Main Duties

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the team with support from seniors, demonstrating excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Assessing and developing junior staff through mentoring, learning, and appraisals.
  • Managing the unit, working closely with other unit leaders, and communicating effectively with staff and stakeholders.
  • Liaising with pharmacy, scheduling, CNS, and consultant teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • SACT accredited course.
  • Oncology/haematology experience.
  • Leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing a team.
