Senior Neonatal Nursing Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Neonatal Staff Nurse to join our Special Care Baby Unit in Barnstaple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting high standards of care and providing clinical leadership to the nursing and wider multidisciplinary team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with our dedicated team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care. You will be required to demonstrate continuing professional development that reflects individual needs, the needs of the team, and the needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide effective care to special care, high dependency, and intensive care neonates without direct supervision in any situation.
- In charge of the ward and support junior members of the team as well as student nurses.
- Take part in regular performance appraisal.
- Require resilience to deliver specialist nursing care in at times, stressful and emotionally demanding environments.
