Medical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our Medical Electronics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned maintenance, acceptance testing, and repair of medical equipment and devices.
- Commissioning new equipment, including running small tender exercises.
- Training nursing and other staff in the use of medical equipment and devices.
- Organizing and updating service, operation, and instruction manuals for equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and medical equipment, with experience in training and maintenance. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills.
The post holder will be based at the Royal Free Hospital, where they will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of clinical scientists, medical technical officers, healthcare assistants, and clerical staff.
