About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment, providing corrective/planned maintenance, medical device training, and calibration of medical equipment.
As a Medical Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the optimal functioning of medical devices. Your role will involve routine maintenance of a wide range of medical equipment, including complex systems.
You will be required to follow departmental procedures and act within your level of knowledge and experience, with supervision from more senior staff available when needed.
Main Responsibilities- Perform acceptance testing, electrical safety testing, planned maintenance, and repairs on medical equipment
- Maintain a high standard of customer care by adhering to a registered quality assurance system (BS EN ISO 9001:2015)
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide technical support
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech) or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience/vocational trainings
- Understand and apply safe working procedures
- Computer literacy using full range of office programs
- Knowledge of medical Electrical Safety testing
