Medical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Ergea UK and Ireland Limited.
About the RoleThis is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to provide top-notch medical equipment repair, maintenance, and asset management services within a specified hospital location.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service and responsiveness.
Main Responsibilities- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines
- Support site managers and team leaders in achieving contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines
- Complete associated administrative work in completing repairs and preventative maintenance as outlined in Ergéa's procedures
- Provide support to customers to minimize disruption to hospital operations
- Travel to satellite sites to perform corrective and preventive maintenance
- Maintain safe working practices within the hospital environment
- Manage spare part stock as needed
- Schedule and complete workload for customers within assigned areas
- Maintain service documentation in line with business requirements
- Liaise with OEM and third-party supplier service staff and management when required
- Maintain tools and test equipment in line with Ergéa Standards
- HNC in Electrical Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Qualification in Engineering, electronics, or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering
- Excellent Customer Relationship skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, Excel
- Superior integrity and discretion
- Clean UK driving licence
- 2-5 years' experience in a healthcare environment with experience on medical equipment
- Familiarity with appropriate national and local regulatory standards
- Experience working in clinical environments involving patient communication
- English language proficiency
- Competitive salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
