Concept Resourcing is seeking a skilled Senior Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience as a biomedical engineer in the UK and a strong background in medical device maintenance.

The role involves providing daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations. You will work closely with the site/team leader to achieve contract KPIs and build long-term relationships with customers, subcontractors, and staff.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines.
  2. Completing repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines.
  3. Traveling to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance.
  4. Liaising with 3rd party suppliers for spare part and contract quotations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Certified OEM training.
  2. A UK Degree in Biomedical Engineering, electronics, or medical technologies.
  3. 3-5 years of experience in a UK biomedical setting.
  4. Experience with patient monitoring, diathermies (electrosurgery units), theatre tables, defibrillators, infusion & volumetric devices, anaesthesia equipment, ventilation devices.
  5. Competence with a broad range of medical devices.
  6. A full UK Driving Licence.
