About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Daventry, Northamptonshire. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll play a vital role in driving store performance, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving store targets and objectives
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure excellent customer service and store standards
- Manage store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans, strategies, and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of achieving sales growth and improving store performance
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
