Deputy Store Manager

About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Daventry, Northamptonshire. As a key member of our store management team, you'll be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional store standards and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in leading a high-performing team and driving business results
- Support the development and implementation of store strategies to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain excellent store standards and ensure a positive customer experience
- Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of store staff
- Manage store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management and inventory control
