Nursery Deputy Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at fish4.co - Jobboard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early years education and a proven track record of leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and deputise for the Nursery Manager as required.
  • Assist with staff development and training.
  • Attend regular staff meetings and assist with nursery events outside core hours.
  • Assist the manager in showing parents/carers around the setting's facilities and sending out information.
  • Liaise with parents/carers, other family members and staff to ensure that the particular needs of children are met and that parental choice is considered in terms of care given.
  • Report any concerns to the Nursery Manager.
  • Create fun learning environments both indoors and outdoors.
  • Assist the nursery manager with the efficient upkeep of the building and maintenance/stock of equipment, furnishings and fittings.
  • Ensure safeguarding is core to all activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a similar role.
  • Full & Relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3+).
  • A team player with the ability to be flexible to the needs of the children and the team, with experience of leading a team.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity, and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
