Tregothnan Estate is a family-run business with a diverse portfolio of activities, including a world-renowned botanical garden, forestry and joinery operations, and a substantial property portfolio. We produce tea, honey, and jam, which are sold by our trading team, and deliver experiences such as Garden and Tea Tasting Tours. Our estate is located on the edge of the River Fal in Cornwall.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our small team in a new role that offers variety and the opportunity to learn about our diverse business. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Order Management and Customer Service: Accurately entering customer orders, handling customer queries and complaints, developing a thorough understanding of Tregothnan's products and systems, and providing informed support and solutions to customer enquiries.
  • Frontline Support - online & onsite: Greeting and assisting customers in the on-site shop, providing personalized recommendations, answering product questions, and handling payments. Proactively upselling products and promoting seasonal items and special offers.
  • Administrative Support for Sales Team: Providing support to the sales team by completing administrative tasks, client correspondence, and ad hoc requests from team members. Assisting with booking tours and handling associated payments, coordinating with the events or visitor services teams as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Sales experience within a telesales/office environment.
  • Front line customer service experience.
  • An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Excellent written communication, presentation, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized, conscientious, with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • A flexible attitude to work to support other members of the team and willingness to change tasks as and when required.
  • The ability to work under pressure, with good time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently using own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • A professional and mature attitude, polite, and good levels of personal presentation.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £24,000 per annum, paid 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day, with 30 minutes unpaid break.
