About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Counsellor and Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic assessments and interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans in line with local safeguarding protocols.
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to children and young people, and their families, to help them manage their mental health.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and carers to develop and implement strategies for supporting children and young people.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, we also offer a range of benefits, including:

Requirements:
  • Qualification in CYP Educational Mental Health Practitioners Course (EMHP) or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with children and young people in educational settings.
  • Ability to conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans.
