Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health/SEN Teaching Assistant to join CV-Library at a friendly and welcoming Special Needs School in Wiltshire.

The school provides integrated education and therapeutic support for children with complex needs, communication difficulties, and behaviour challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils to enhance their academic achievements and emotional well-being.
  2. Monitoring pupils' progress and helping them develop interpersonal and social skills.
  3. Encouraging pupils to make positive decisions and cope with challenges they face.

You will work in partnership with external professionals, including educational and occupational psychologists, counsellors, and speech and language therapists.

Job Details

Job Title: Mental Health/SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire

Salary: £80-£90 per day (estimated annual salary: £172,000 - £194,000)

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Contract: Permanent
