Lead Speech and Language Therapist Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at an SEN school in London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and professional development for the SEN SLT team.
  • Therapy Delivery: Deliver specialized speech and language therapy services in 1:1 and group settings.
  • Staff Development: Train teachers, support staff, and parents on effective communication strategies.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Represent the SLT department in EHCP reviews and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Progress Monitoring: Assess student progress, adapt therapy plans, and report outcomes to families.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
  2. Strong clinical skills in speech and language therapy, particularly in SEN.
Salary and Benefits

£65,000 - £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. A competitive benefits package is also available.
