About the Job

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Teaching Support Associate to join our team at a primary school in Swindon. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a student with an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in achieving their targets and outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about improving the lives of children with special needs. As a Teaching Support Associate, you will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to provide expert support and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to the student with EHCP
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement strategies for meeting the student's targets
  • Work closely with speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, occupational therapists, and teachers with SEN specialisms
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children with Autism or other special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
