Are you a recent Psychology Graduate looking to build your experience in supporting neurodivergent children facing mental health challenges? This SEN School in Devizes, Wiltshire is seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join their team.

Job Description

This role involves providing social, emotional, and academic support to students with learning difficulties and mental health challenges. The pupils at this Special Needs School have various needs, including autism, cognitive impairments, learning difficulties, communication challenges, and physical disabilities. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with a small group of eight to ten pupils, helping them navigate behavioral, emotional, and learning challenges.

You will have the opportunity to apply psychological theories and engage in restorative and therapeutic practices to support children. This role will equip you with the skills and insights required to pursue a career as a Therapist, Psychologist, or Counsellor in the future.
