Community Support Specialist

Based in Bridlington, we are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to support a young person with complex needs.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs and disability, be conscientious, reliable, and always maintain safety.
Responsibilities- To provide support and companionship to the young person during trips out in the community.
- To facilitate engagement in activities that promote social and emotional well-being.
- To ensure the young person's health needs are met while in the community.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs and disability.
- Valid full UK driving licence and access to a car for social and leisure activities.
- Reliability, patience, and strong communication skills.
A package of 8 hours per week term time, with an additional 4 hours per week in school holidays. These hours are negotiable and flexible to suit the needs of both the family and the worker.
SalaryWe offer a competitive salary of £10-12 per hour, depending on experience, which translates to approximately £9,440 - £11,520 per annum based on 20 hours per week.
