Support Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to adults with various needs, such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health. Your primary focus will be on empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Support adults with diverse needs, including learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health.
- Empower individuals to flourish in their homes, promoting independence and well-being.
- Provide tailored support to meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Engage in activities such as cooking, art, and music, as well as organizing outings and events.
- Manage medication, shopping, health needs, and hygiene, ensuring a safe and tidy environment.
- Follow established procedures to provide consistent, safe, and reliable care and support.
- Good general education.
- Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion for making a difference.
- Commitment to the aims and objectives of the service and the organization.
- Satisfactory police check and check against the ISA List (where applicable).
- Commitment to undertake training and development.
- RQF Level 2 or above in social care.
- Previous experience in a social care setting.
- Knowledge and commitment regarding equal opportunities.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
- Confident IT user.
