Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Culinary Support Specialist to join our team at Compass Group UK&I on a part-time basis, working 20 hours per week. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, have excellent communication skills, and are able to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and cooking, cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and facilities, and working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service. They will also support the kitchen manager in achieving operational goals and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Assisting with food preparation and cooking
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and facilities
  • Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Supporting the kitchen manager in achieving operational goals
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures
  • Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Being flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Providing excellent customer service

Salary Range: £8.72 - £9.18 per hour (dependent on experience)
