Autism Support Specialist

We are seeking motivated, caring and compassionate individuals to join our team in a role that supports people with learning disabilities and autism.
As an Autism Support Specialist, you will provide care and support to enhance the independence skills of individuals, promoting choice and control over their lives.
The role involves supporting daily life tasks, pursuing interests, and assisting with activities such as swimming, biking, baking, and cinema trips.
- Supporting with leisure activities.
- Organising leisure activities for those we support.
- Assisting with personal health and care needs.
- Planning and preparing meals.
- Maintaining a respectful and dignified environment following care plan procedures.
- Informing managers of significant developments or difficulties.
- Good housekeeping skills including cooking, cleaning, and budget management.
- Flexible approach to meeting individual needs.
- Will to undertake personal care when required.
- Willingness to complete in-house training and basic induction.
