We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Care Professional to join our team in Lincoln.

About the Role

In this critical role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, promoting their independence, choice, and control over their lives. You will work closely with individuals to develop personalized care plans and support them in their daily living tasks.

No prior experience in care is required, as we welcome applications from individuals who share our values and are willing to undergo training. The ideal candidate will have good housekeeping skills, including cooking, cleaning, and budget management, as well as a flexible approach to meeting people's needs.

A key aspect of this role is providing a caring environment, following specific procedures as detailed in individual care plans, while maintaining respect and dignity. You will also inform managers of any significant developments or difficulties within the care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individuals with activities such as swimming, biking, baking, and trips to the cinema.
  • Organising leisure activities for the people you support.
  • Assisting and monitoring individuals with their personal health and care needs.
  • Planning, purchasing, and preparing meals.
  • Providing a caring environment following specific procedures as detailed in individual care plans, while maintaining respect and dignity.
  • Informing managers of any significant developments or difficulties within the care setting.

About You

  • Good housekeeping skills, including cooking, cleaning, and budget management.
  • Flexible approach to meeting people's needs.
  • Willingsness to undertake personal care when required.
  • Ability to complete in-house training and basic induction.
