Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roadside Vehicle Technician to join our team at AWP Assistance UK Ltd. As a Roadside Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our BMW customers by diagnosing and repairing their vehicles at the roadside.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside using various technologies and diagnostic systems.
  • Undertake or arrange recovery of vehicles when they require dealer workshop attention.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve targets and goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a vehicle or roadside technician.
  • Diagnostic equipment experience.
  • Excellent fault finding and repair skills.
  • Excellent customer facing skills.
  • Good level of IT competence.
  • Full drivers' licence.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • Manufacture apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds Technician Certificate Parts I and II NVQ/B-Tech diploma.

Benefits:

  • Guaranteed £3,000 bonus in the first 12 months, paid quarterly.
  • £50,000 achievable OTE.

Working Hours:

  • No working overnight or 12 hour shifts Our shifts average a 48 hour working week between the hours of 7am and 10pm Monday to Sunday.
  • Three different shifts of an early, middle and late are required, giving you weekends off a month and you are notified 12 months in advance so you can manage your work/life balance
  • Able to start a little earlier or finish a little later? You will be paid on a 'Pay per job' basis, up to £50 per job.
  • Working a Bank holiday? We provide a Bank Holiday financial supplement and a day off in lieu.

What We're Looking For:

  • You will be an experienced vehicle or roadside technician.
  • You must have diagnostic equipment experience.
  • You will have excellent fault finding and repair skills.
  • You must have excellent customer facing skills.
  • You will have a good level of IT competence.
  • You must have a full drivers' licence.
  • You will be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
