Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roadside Vehicle Technician to join our high-performing national roadside assistance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a first-class service to our BMW customers, ensuring they receive an excellent experience when they need our roadside assistance service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside using various technologies and diagnostic systems.
  • Undertake or arrange recovery of vehicles when they require dealer workshop attention.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring our customers receive a positive experience.
  • Work independently, using your technical knowledge and skills to make decisions and take ownership of each assistance job.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a vehicle or roadside technician.
  • Diagnostic equipment experience.
  • Excellent fault-finding and repair skills.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills.
  • Good level of IT competence.
  • Full driver's license.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • Manufacture apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds Technician Certificate Parts I and II NVQ/B-Tech diploma.
