Job Summary

AWS Assistance UK Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Roadside Vehicle Technician to join our high-performing national roadside assistance team. As a Roadside Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for providing a first-class service to ensure our BMW customers can get back on the road safely and in a timely fashion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside using various technologies and diagnostic systems.
  • Undertake or arrange recovery of vehicles when they require dealer workshop attention.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve targets and goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience as a vehicle or roadside technician.
  • Diagnostic equipment experience.
  • Excellent fault finding and repair skills.
  • Excellent customer facing skills.
  • Good level of IT competence.
  • Full drivers' licence.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.

Qualifications

  • Manufacture apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds Technician Certificate Parts I and II NVQ/B-Tech diploma.
