Healthcare Administrative Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the General Manager, focusing on customer experience elements, HR, recruitment, payroll, finance, and supervising junior administrators.
About the Role:
- Promote a positive environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Manage enquiries and showrounds of the home for prospective families, including managing the customer database appropriately to support commercial performance and conversion of enquiries.
- Contribute to the drive occupancy and reputation of the Care Home as part of a community engagement team.
- Support resident and family feedback with a focus on customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment processes, completing new starter checks and arranging inductions.
- Process payroll for home-based staff.
- Provide guidance to employees on HR-related queries using relevant tools and resources.
- Guarantee secure storage of personal files.
- Attend meetings and produce accurate meeting notes where necessary.
- Oversee safe contents, petty cash, and resident fund accounts.
- Update employee records with ad-hoc training, supervisions, and appraisals.
- Offer guidance on staff development opportunities, including signposting to Apprenticeships and qualifications.
About You:
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Necessary background in HR administration and recruitment.
- Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks.
- Proficient user of Microsoft applications.
