Industrial Business Development Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Industrial Business Development Lead to join our team in the Midlands. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities and developing effective sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

About the Role

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Work closely with our Sales Director to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers, provide expert advice and support, and demonstrate a deep understanding of our products and services.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the industrial sector, including market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales management within the industrial sector, preferably with a background in heavy equipment handling or process industries.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and expanding customer bases.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits

  • A competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
