About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Call Centre Representative to join our team at the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust. As a Call Centre Representative, you will be responsible for answering calls from the public for the NHS 111 Wales Service, providing high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering calls from the public and providing empathetic and respectful support
- Working as part of a team to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes
- Using critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and respond to complex situations
- Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Using IT systems to record patient information and update records
Requirements
- Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent
- Experience of dealing with the public on the phone and working as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
- Sound IT skills and ability to use critical thinking skills
