We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Call Handler for the NHS 111 Wales Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families, answering calls, and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Answering calls from the public for the NHS 111 Wales Service
- Providing accurate and empathetic responses to patient inquiries
- Working collaboratively with a team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Utilizing critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues
- Maintaining accurate records and data entry
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential
