About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with challenging behaviour profiles, derived from social, emotional, and/or mental health difficulties/traumas.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting vulnerable children and a commitment to helping them thrive in a nurturing environment. You will work closely with our team of therapists to provide consistent care and equip our students with the tools they need to feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe in their ability to succeed in life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children with challenging behaviour profiles, derived from social, emotional, and/or mental health difficulties/traumas
  • Work closely with our team of therapists to provide consistent care and support
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to support our students
  • Build strong relationships with our students, their families, and our team of professionals
