Senior Children's Support Worker

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support and Care: Provide daily support and care to vulnerable children and young people in a safe environment, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with young people, their families, social workers, and other organizations to ensure everyone's needs are addressed.
  • Planning and Review: Coordinate, monitor, and review Care Plans for allocated young people to support their transition to adulthood and greater independence.
  • Establishment Maintenance: Take responsibility for the upkeep of the establishment, ensuring health and safety and primary care issues are addressed.


Additional Duties:
  • Shift Work: Work shifts including weekends and bank holidays on a Rota basis as required.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible to work at other properties as directed by management.


Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience of working with children/young people in an Ofsted environment.
  • Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma or above.
  • DBS Check: Enhanced DBS Check, and on the update service.
  • Driving: Ability to drive.
