Residential Support Worker

Barnardo's is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people in our children's homes.
Service Overview:Our Leicestershire Family Residential Centre provides a safe and structured living environment for parents and their children, offering a therapeutic needs-based approach to support each child and family's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide warm and responsive support to children and families, promoting positive relationships and attachment.
- Develop and implement tailored support plans, focusing on children's behaviour, attachment, family relationships, and development.
- Work collaboratively with residential workers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
- Contribute to a safe and structured living environment, promoting a sense of community and well-being.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and their families, with a strong understanding of therapeutic approaches and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Applicants should have experience in a similar role, with a focus on supporting children and families in a residential setting. A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is desirable.
