Supporting Vulnerable Children in SEND and Mental Health

GSL Education is a leading provider of education services, committed to supporting vulnerable children in the SEND and Mental Health sectors. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping children with challenging behaviour profiles derive from their difficulties in socialising, emotional, and mental health.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about aiding the learning of young people with SEMH through creative, visual, practical, and academic approaches. This is an ideal opportunity for aspiring Occupational Therapists, Educational Psychologists, and Speech and Language Therapists.
Located in East London, our school provides a supportive environment where you can work closely with therapists, expanding your knowledge and skillset, and gaining relevant practical experience. This is an invaluable stepping stone for those ambitious to become a psychotherapist in one of the arts or speech & language.

- A degree in Social Science, Youth Studies, Psychology, Criminology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Sincerity, compassion, enthusiasm, and inspiration

- Knowledge of the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy
