About the Role

We're seeking an ambitious Business Opportunities Manager to join our UK sales team at Renewable Exchange, a leading market player in the renewable energy sector. As a Business Opportunities Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our client base by connecting with new renewable energy generators and introducing them to the strength of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and target new owners of renewable energy projects to support them in optimising the sale of their renewable electricity.
  • Take ownership of your business development pipeline, delivering value to clients through a relationship-focused sales process.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the UK power market and use this expertise to deliver value to our clients.
  • Build strong, genuine client relationships through phone, in-person meetings, and networking at industry events.
  • Find innovative ways to add value to our clients through consultancy, reporting, and optimisation services.
Requirements
  • Relationship-focused with strong commercial acumen, able to deliver outstanding results for clients and exceed sales targets.
  • 2+ years of business development experience with a proven track record.
  • Excellent communication skills through phone, video calls, email, and in-person meetings, with experience of pitching to company directors or equivalent.
  • Motivated and driven to deliver the best service possible to our clients and develop long-term relationships.
  • Confident in presenting complex data sets to deliver high-level insights and analytics to key clients.
  • Passionate about sustainability and accelerating the journey to net-zero.
