About the Role

At Practice Plus Group, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Healthcare Assistant to join our team at HMP Altcourse. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing clinical care packages, phlebotomy, and assessment, treatment, and evaluation of patient care. They will also support the SMS NMP team in delivering medication and care to our substance misuse patients.

We offer a competitive salary of £15 per hour, with flexible shift options available. As a Substance Misuse Healthcare Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, develop your skills, and enhance your career prospects.

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent. Previous experience in a care setting, ideally from a hospital or prison setting, is also required.
