About the Opportunity
">We are looking for a skilled Substance Misuse Healthcare Assistant to join our team at HMP Altcourse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care to patients.
">The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, with experience in a care setting, ideally from a hospital or prison setting. A NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent is also essential.
">We offer a competitive salary of £15 per hour, with flexible shift options available. As a Substance Misuse Healthcare Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, develop your skills, and enhance your career prospects.
">Responsibilities
">- Implement clinical care packages, phlebotomy, and assessment, treatment, and evaluation of patient care
- Support the SMS NMP team in delivering medication and care to our substance misuse patients
- Work closely with the registered nurse to promote safe patient care and develop new skills
