We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Healthcare Specialist to join our team in custody suites, providing high-quality healthcare services to detainees. In this role, you will collaborate with the Police to deliver healthcare services in accordance with agreed schedules and ensure the safety and well-being of detainees. With extensive training provided, you can pursue a rewarding career within the criminal justice system, aiding those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional healthcare services to detainees in custody suites
  • Collaborate with Police teams to ensure safe and effective delivery of care

Requirements:

  • RN, RGN, or RMN with dual registration: 2 years post-qualification experience (Band 5 minimum)
  • Paramedic: 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role in a relevant field (General Practice, A&E, Emergency Medicine, acute medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service)
  • Driving Licence (required)
  • Must have RTW in UK, lived in UK, British Passport, or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months
  • All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting

Benefits:

  • Salary: £20,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)
  • Bonus: £X when completed 12 months' service
  • Part-time schedule: fixed shift working (06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts and night shifts of 18:45 to 07:00), working in a team rota pattern of 2 day shifts on, 8 days, 2 nights, 4 days off (rolling rota available 2 years in advance)
  • Average estimated overtime: £X per annum
  • NMC/HCPC Registration paid
