The Role

The CTI Custody Worker will be part of a Critical Time Intervention (CTI) team working across the Liverpool City Region. The team's primary goal is to support prison leavers in securing stable accommodation, thus preventing homelessness on release.

About the Job

The CTI Custody Worker will work within a time-limited framework, providing person-centered support to individuals as they transition from prison to the community. This role requires experience in delivering coaching, mentoring, and learning support within the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance to prison leavers as they navigate the transition to community life.
  • Work collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory services to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to support individuals in achieving their goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in delivering person-centered support within the criminal justice system.
  • Knowledge of issues affecting homeless or vulnerably housed individuals.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
