About the Role

The CTI Custody Worker will be part of a Critical Time Intervention (CTI) team working across Liverpool City Region. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering family leave.

Job Summary

The CTI Custody Worker will support prison leavers in transitioning to accommodation, preventing homelessness on release from custody. The post holder will work within the framework of CTI, delivering person-centered support, coaching, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver CTI support to prison leavers, focusing on transition to accommodation and preventing homelessness.
  • Work within the CTI framework, providing coaching, mentoring, and learning support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with statutory and non-statutory services within the criminal justice system.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of CTI support, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience of delivering person-centered support within the criminal justice system.
  • Knowledge of issues affecting homeless or vulnerably housed individuals, including mental illness, addiction, and the benefit system.
  • Commitment to empowering homeless and vulnerably housed individuals.
  • A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle.
