About the Position

The Northern Europe business is seeking a highly skilled Media Strategy & Brand Comms Lead to drive business growth through the development and execution of media plans strategies and roadmaps.

The role will sit within the Northern Europe Marketing team, reporting directly to the Marketing Director, and will involve working with a diverse team across various countries, brands, and categories.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to drive excellence in Comms & Media strategy across Northern Europe brands and categories, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency, and setting a clear strategy for brand plans across the marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead how brands in the Northern European business connect with consumers through different media channels.
  • Bring together the total picture across brands, categories, and channels.
  • Unlock media and digital capability with playbooks, tools, and partnerships.
  • Design and own routines with the marketing team to ensure effective implementation of strategies and collaboration.
  • Support the business with strategic initiatives in MarTech, media, and digital to fuel business growth and drive the digital transformation agenda.
  • Lead Marketing Mix Modeling projects for media ROI improvements across brands.

Requirements

  • 6+ years' experience managing Brand Strategy or Media strategist (either with an agency or client-side) is required.
  • Cross-channel experience is preferred (Digital, TV, print, OOH, radio, etc.) with strong media fundamentals but knowledge in the digital space is the most important.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify and connect with people.
  • Strong collaborator and influencer.
  • Passionate about inspiring and driving change.
  • Organized and able to handle several projects concurrently.
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies and applications.
  • Deep knowledge of global digital platforms. Working knowledge of emerging platforms a plus.
  • Business acumen: ability to operate in a wider commercial environment with stakeholders of varying levels.
