About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Operations Specialist to join our team at Entain. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our business strategy and driving organisational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Operational HR Support: Offer guidance and advice to Regional Directors and Area Managers on HR-related matters, ensuring they have the necessary support to achieve their goals.
  • Partner with Area Managers: Collaborate closely with Area Managers to provide coaching, training, and support, helping them to develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Monitor Performance and Capability: Work with the Regional Director and Senior HRBP to monitor Area Manager performance and identify areas where additional support or training is needed.
  • Implement Organisational Change: Support the Regional Director and Senior HRBP in implementing organisational change initiatives, working closely with regional management teams to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Drive Cultural Change and Improved Business Performance: Support the implementation of key programmes to drive cultural change and improve business performance, including Performance Development, Management Development, and Engagement Surveys.
  • Support Regional Employee Forum Meetings: Assist the Regional Director with preparing for Regional Employee Forum meetings, preparing presentations and agendas, and actively participating in the meetings to listen to colleague concerns and feedback.
  • Support Regional Team Meetings: Work closely with the Regional Director and Senior HRBP to plan and facilitate Regional Team Meetings, ensuring all Area Managers are clear on the regional plan and their priorities.
  • Collaborate with HR Function: Work closely with colleagues across the HR function to encourage continuous improvement and build a strong and collaborative HR Team that effectively supports the business.
Requirements
  • CIPD Qualification and Degree Education: Ideally, you will hold a CIPD qualification and a degree education, although relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Ulrich Business Partner Model Experience: You will have experience of working within an Ulrich business partner model and within a matrix model.
  • Strong Communication and Influencing Skills: You will possess strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt your style and approach to suit different situations.
  • Complex Issue Handling: You will be able to handle complex issues and make sound judgement decisions in time-pressured situations.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: You will be able to use data and insight to influence and make decisions.
  • Commercial Acumen: You will have good commercial acumen and be able to plan, organise, and effectively multitask.
  • Technical Generalist: You will be a strong technical generalist with the ability to provide operational HR support and guidance to Area Managers.
