About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Partner to join our team at Entain. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of our People Plan, driving organisational effectiveness, engagement, and high performance across our Retail locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational HR Support: Provide expert HR advice and guidance to Regional Directors and Area Managers, ensuring they have the necessary support to achieve their goals.
  • Partnership and Coaching: Effectively partner with Area Managers, providing coaching, training, and support to help them develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Performance Management: Assist the Regional Director and Senior HRBP in monitoring Area Manager performance and capability, identifying areas for development and implementing targeted support.
  • Organisational Change: Implement organisational change activity with regional management teams, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Cultural Change and Business Performance: Support the implementation of key programmes to drive cultural change and improved business performance, including Performance Development, Management Development, and Engagement Surveys.
  • Regional Employee Forum: Actively participate in Regional Employee Forum meetings, listening to colleague concerns and feedback, and driving the delivery of actions through Area Managers.
  • Regional Team Meetings: Support the Regional Directors and Senior HRBP with the planning of Regional Team Meetings, ensuring all Area Managers are clear on the regional plan and their priorities.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Work closely with colleagues across the HR function, encouraging continuous improvement and building a strong and collaborative HR Team that effectively supports the business.
Requirements
  • CIPD Qualification and Degree: Ideally CIPD qualified and degree educated, although candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Ulrich Business Partner Model: Experience of working within an Ulrich business partner model and within a matrix model.
  • Communication and Influencing Skills: Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt both style and approach.
  • Complex Issue Handling: Ability to handle complex issues and make sound judgement decisions in time-pressured situations.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use data and insight to influence and make decisions.
  • Commercial Acumen: Good commercial acumen and ability to plan, organise, and effectively multitask.
  • Technical Generalist: Strong technical generalist skills.
