About the People Operations Generalist Position

The People Operations Generalist is a key role within the People Team at NuServe, delivering a professional advisory service to support the organization's HR needs.

As a member of the proactive, innovative, and responsive People Operations team, you will provide expert HR solutions and recommendations to drive business success. You will build and develop relationships with managers and staff at all levels to provide support and guidance on a range of HR matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to line managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including absences, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Support HR administration for general queries and employee life cycle events.
  • Deliver and support business projects related to HR.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for all incoming and outgoing TUPE cases.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Good knowledge of employee relations and employment legislation, with experience in working on a range of employee relations aspects.
  • Experience with HR Information Systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Driven to continually seek out areas for improvement and business growth.
  • Pro-active approach to work and problem-solving, with the ability to spot and deal with issues as they occur.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience within the education sector.
  • Experience and/or training in safeguarding regulations and practice.
  • CIPD qualified Level 5.
