We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is seeking a highly motivated Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Heart of Birmingham Vocational College. This exciting opportunity involves teaching a core foundation group of learners with complex learning and communication needs, working closely with our experienced tutors and reporting directly to the Curriculum Manager.

The ideal candidate will have high expectations and a good sense of humour, with a passion for improving the lives of young adults with learning difficulties and autism. They will engage and motivate learners to help them realise their vocational, independence, social, and personal goals.

As part of our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young adults, they will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.

This term-time only role offers 16 weeks' annual leave, compressing 10 working days' worth of hours into 9, in a flexible working pattern between our opening hours of 7:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday. The salary range for this position is £27,265 - £33,459 per annum, pro-rata for term-time working.
