Job Title: Learning Disabilities Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a qualified nurse with current clinical experience of supporting patients with learning disabilities, autism, co-morbidities, including behavioral support and mental health needs.

This is a fixed-term position until January 2026. The role will provide effective management of the learning disability pathway caseload, ensuring recovery-focused, specialist health interventions are delivered effectively.

The estimated salary for this position is around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role
  • As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you'll bring expertise in supporting children, young people, and adults with complex needs, acting as a visible leader in the field of Learning Disabilities and Autism.
  • You'll work within a collaborative and supportive multi-disciplinary team, including clinical psychologists, liaison psychiatrists, and specialist nurses to help shape holistic, person-centred care at Birmingham Children's Hospital and provide essential support for women accessing services at Birmingham Women's Hospital.
